This is the overview page of the Denitool turning program: small and miniature boring bars for internal turning and copying (from bore ⌀ 2.8 mm / .110"), monobloc micro tools for grooving and threading, a boring bar for hardened materials, ISO-standard boring bars, and external (OD) turning tools for Swiss-type lathes. Each family has its own page with the full designation tables (dimensions, insert, screw, Torx driver).

## Terms used on this page

- **DMIN**: minimum bore diameter the boring bar can enter. The "from ⌀" value of each family is its smallest DMIN.
- **KAPR**: tool cutting edge angle (e.g. 95° in "95° SCLD").
- **Family name number**: the included angle of the insert (ISO insert shape C and W = 80°, E = 75°, D = 55°, T = 60°, V = 35°).

## How to choose

1. Bore diameter: pick a family whose "from bore ⌀" is at or below your bore. Below 4.8 mm (.189") only MicroTurn A/S fits.
2. Operation: copying and profiling (MicroCopy D/G, MicroCopy 35°, MiniCopy 35°, Copy 35°), general boring (MicroTurn D, MiniTools 80°, SmallBars 75°, IsoTools, Turning 60°), hardened material up to 62 HRC (HardTurn 80°), grooving and threading in very small bores (MicroTurn A/S), OD turning on Swiss-type lathes (SwissLine®).
