This is the overview page of the Denitool indexable milling program: small milling cutters with screw-clamped carbide inserts for chamfering, countersinking, shoulder (corner) and face milling, and circlip groove milling. The smallest tool, MicroCut F, works in bores from ⌀ 2 mm (.078"). Each family has its own page with the list of designations.

Denitool is the tool brand of DENI AG (Veltheim, Switzerland). Its US subsidiary Denitool Inc. (Raleigh NC) sells the inch program.

## Terms used on this page

- **KAPR**: tool cutting edge angle (ISO 13399), e.g. 90° for shoulder milling, 45° for chamfering.
- **Insert seat**: ISO insert shape and size the cutter takes, e.g. CP 05T1 (80° rhombic, positive), SP 06 (square), TP 1102 and TP 16T3 (triangular). See https://www.denitool.com/md/en/insert-designation.md
- **Inch designations**: in the family lists, a designation with an inch mark after the letters (for example FW "0208 RCDS-05) is the inch version, sold through store.denitool.com.

The shanks are cylindrical (straight) in the sampled articles (FW 0212 RCDS-05 ⌀ 12 mm, FZ 2020 RSAS-06 ⌀ 20 mm, FW 2520 RTAS-16 ⌀ 20 mm, FW 1210 RNAS-00 ⌀ 10 mm). MicroMill heads (e.g. MM 1212 RCAS-05) mount on the modular MicroMill connection instead of a shank.

## How to choose

1. Operation: chamfering in small bores (MicroCut F), 90° or 82° countersinks (Countersink Cutter), 90° shoulders (Corner and Face Milling Cutter, MillingCutters RTA.., MicroMill), face milling with smaller cutting edge angles (MillingCutters), circlip and other internal grooves (Slot Milling Cutter).

Search by full designation or by the style letters. Examples that return results:

`ch.denitool.com` is the Swiss/metric shop, `store.denitool.com` the US/inch shop. The response lists products with name (the designation, e.g. "FZ 2020 RSAS-06"), price and stock status. In the US shop, inch designations carry an inch mark that the API returns HTML-encoded (e.g. `FW “3216 RTDS-16`); search by the style letters (RTDS, RTAS ...) instead of typing the mark.
